Poppy New Album Prediction & Thoughts

This is the first time I’ve ever done a prediction of an album. I’m not even sure if anyone has ever done this kind of thing but I often like to guess what to expect on an upcoming album so let’s jump right into it!

Poppy is a youtuber known for her weird/vague/somewhat scary messages in her vlogs. I’ve been a fan of her for quite sometime. She’s a kid who created an entire persona for herself and as someone who used to make a living playing a character who was one of the most hated people on Youtube I can appreciate the effort that she has put into building this character for herself.

It wasn’t until roughly a year after I started watching Poppy videos that I found out she was a singer. She’s really good. My personal favorite is “Everybody Wants To Be Poppy”. She has recently announced a new album in 2017. She has so far released a few singles on her youtube. I’m not sure if those will be on the album but one thing I’ve noticed is they are really heavy on the computer/autotune/electronic side of music compared to her other stuff.

Normally I’m not a fan of autotune but in this case it really works for her because it fits her character. She’s robotic/computerized in the way she speaks and moves. Poppy has proven that she can sing very well without autotune so it’s clear that she was just trying something new and not solely relying on autotune, which a lot of musicians do.

I think this album is going to do pretty well. She has a big fan following and she’s gaining more publicity by the day. She’s worked hard for everything she has and all the power to her. Cheers to the working men and women out there
