Music Legend Gregg Allman Dead At 69

There’s one thing I’ve never been and that’s a liar. I’m gonna tell you upfront that I don’t know very much about Gregg Allman. I’ve of course heard of the Allman brothers but I didn’t truly know them. But I don’t have to know Gregg to know what he did for the music industry. There’s one thing that separates me from every other music website in the world. I don’t copy and paste. Sure, I could go on Wikipedia or Google and copy and paste information to make myself seem like I know what I’m talking about but that’s not me. I like to speak from the heart.

I’ve heard a few of Gregg Allman’s song and I know what the man can do and he clearly had a passion for music. To do it for as long as he did it and for his daughter and sons to want to follow in his footsteps shows me right there how much of an influence he was. I actually know one of his daughters. Layla Brooklyn Allman. I’m a big fan of her music in Picture Me Broken and I think she’s one of the most talented musicians in the world and I remember one interview she did where she spoke very highly of her dad.

Many people in my family love the Allman Brothers and I’m pretty sure have been to their concerts. I’ve seen people all over the world say it feels like a piece of them was lost when Gregg Allman died due to liver cancer. That to me speaks volumes and I don’t need Wikipedia or Google to tell me that. His music has touched the lives of millions and his legacy will live on forever and no amount of passing time will take away what he helped build. He was incredibly brave. He was incredibly talented. And he’ll be incredibly missed by so many people. My thoughts go out to his friends and family!
